Arbeit und Zukunft e.V.

Arbeit und Zukunft is a registered non-profit association, founded in 2001. With more than 20 members from Austria and Germany, the organisation is a network of scientists, consultants and practitioners in the disciplines of ergonomics, work design and labour research. According to its statutes, the organisation carries out national and international publicly funded R&D projects. It practices a transdisciplinary and participation-oriented approach.

The main tasks in the project are:

  • Analysis of existing approaches in Human Resource (HR) Policy and Workplace Innovations in the Baltic Sea Region
  • Development of curricula and teaching materials for a train-the-trainer programme to impart competencies for consulting and training in HR and organisational development
  • Identification of SME-specific conditions, prerequisites and qualification needs in the above mentioned field of activities
  • Support on the development of curricula for a Dual Bachelor’s programme “Management and Workplace Innovations in SMEs”.
